Christian Kneuer

Director of Network Operations & Scheduling

A New York native, Christian Kneuer began his professional career in 1998 as an intern at the Madison Square Garden Network, and was quickly elevated to Broadcast Coordinator in June of 1999.

While at MSG, Kneuer was responsible for ensuring that all broadcast distribution and MSG backhaul content was precisely delivered for its entities, which included the New York Yankees, New York Mets, New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New York Islanders, New Jersey Devils, and New Jersey Nets. In addition, he also coordinated daily incoming feeds with MSG Production and Broadcast Operations Center.

In September of 2002, Kneuer joined GlobeCast North America, where he was named Sports Booking Coordinator. Tasks included booking, scheduling, and delivery of all backhauls for GlobeCast’s sports division.

One of the greatest challenges of Kneuer’s career came in May of 2003, when he assisted in the transition and startup of HTN Communications, LLC (formerly Hughes Television Network). After establishing himself as a driving force within the company, Kneuer has steadily climbed at HTN, first to Manager of Scheduling, and currently serves as Director of Network Facilities and Scheduling.

While helping to build and expand HTN, Kneuer has thrived in an administrative role, transforming the company into a leader of the broadcast industry, as well as overseeing many aspects of the organization, which includes the ordering, installation, and maintenance of all network facilities (including video circuits, ISDN circuits, and phone lines). Kneuer was also heavily involved in implementing HTN’s presence in nearly every NHL, NBA, and MLB venue throughout the United States and Canada.

A lifelong sports fan, Kneuer also excelled on many levels. While attending Nassau Community College, where he earned an Associates Degree, he was the leading scorer of the Junior College National Championship lacrosse team in 1997. Kneuer went on to earn a Bachelors Degree from Adelphi University, while helping win back-to-back National Championships in lacrosse in 1998 and 1999.

Currently, Christian resides in Massapequa, NY, with his wife Tara and their daughter Kayla Elizabeth.
