John Bonaccorso
Director of Operations & Programming
John Bonaccorso began his career at Rainbow Network Communications, a Cablevision company, based in Floral Park, NY as an operation’s technician in 1995. During this time, some of his responsibilities included encryption system maintenance and affiliate engineering, sales and satellite transponder scheduling, trafficking, monitoring and troubleshooting live sport events that were distributed to various regional sports networks.
In September of 2000, Bonaccorso joined the GlobeCast Sports Division as a Customer Service Representative. His main focus at GlobeCast was to provide sales support, and provide value added services to an existing customer base. In February 2002, Bonaccorso was promoted to Project Manager, Sports. In addition to his previous responsibilities, Bonaccorso managed the sports trafficking department and established quality working relationships between the operations and accounting divisions to ensure service excellence throughout each area of the company as it related to sports services.
HTN Communications purchased the Sports Divison of GlobeCast in May of 2003. Bonaccorso and his team successfully transitioned the Sports Division’s operations to HTN Communications upon completion of the sale. John not only played a vital role in HTN’s operational transition, but also in the construction of the company’s monitoring center and computer trafficking system.
Nearly a year later, Bonaccorso was promoted to Director of Operations and Programming for HTN Communications and emerging as an influential leader in expanding the company.
In 2009, Bonaccorso was a thriving force in implementing HTN Communications equipment in nearly every professional sports venues in the United States and Canada. He has also guided the construction of a brand new multi-million dollar fiber-optic network, which is maintained and operated at the HTN Technical Operations Center located in Manhattan, NY.
In addition to his responsibilities, he continues to oversee and manage the growing operations division. Bonaccorso also manages responsibilities associated with finance and IT applications, providing clients with the latest technology and applications introduced to the market.
John is a Pace University graduate with a B. A. in Communications.
