Ralph Romano
Manager of Operations
An integral member of the HTN Communications operations department, Ralph Romano was a key figure in helping build and maintain, the recently completed HD fiber network installed at all Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association and National Hockey League facilities.
During April of 2004, Romano joined HTN as a Senior Operations Coordinator. He was later promoted to Manager of Operations in August of 2008, where he oversees the day-to-day activity and technical duties. Prior to joining HTN, he enjoyed a successful tenure at Rainbow Network Communications, spearheading their encryption services and affiliate relations.
The New York native often credits his vast industry experience due to his seven-year tenure at Rainbow. During this time, he learned about trend-setting technologies such as HD transmission broadcasts, which served as an influential point of his career.
As new technologies continue to emerge, Romano strives to stay ahead of the competition, with his latest endeavors specializing in online video streaming. As the “TV Everywhere” evolution gets ready to impact consumers, he has already established a business model considered to be the first of its kind in the marketplace. A graduate of Queens College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Romano currently resides in Whitestone, NY.
