Rita Cohen

Vice Chairwoman

Rita Llop Cohen, Vice Chairwoman of HTN Communications, LLC. She is a former ballet dancer and is a certified dance teacher.

While attending Lincoln High School in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Cohen studied Ballet at the Colon Theatre. She later went on to study and apprenticed at the Washington School of Ballet. She holds a BA in Theater Arts from Marymount College in Virginia.

She performed in regional dinner theaters in the DC area and landed parts in several major motion pictures. Her credits include Warner Brothers films “The Exorcist” and “All The President’s Men”, in addition to Twentieth Century Fox film “The Other Side of Midnight”. She also spent time as a supernumerary and production assistant at the Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts. She is fluent in Italian and Spanish and has worked as a professional translator. Rita played an integral part in the acquisition of HTN Communications, LLC in 2003 and as Vice Chairwoman, contributes on an ongoing basis to the management of the company.

A key member of the Presidents Circle at Marymount College of Virginia, Cohen is heavily involved in the community, having served as PTA President at Marymount Junior School. She is also a strong supporter and advocate of the French American Aid for Children and Dollies Making a Difference in LA. She is now a member of the Parents Council at New York University.

Rita is married to Joe Cohen and has three daughters-Marianne, Johanna, and Gabriella.
