Rita Llop Cohen, Vice Chairwoman of HTN Communications, LLC, is a distinguished media maven, enjoying success both in front of the camera, as well as in the business aspect of the television broadcast industry.
While attending Lincoln High School in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Cohen discovered her desire to delve into the entertainment industry immediately, becoming a certified dance teacher at the Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. She later went on to graduate from the Washington School of Ballet, before eventually earning a M.A. in Theater Arts from Marymount College of Virginia.
After receiving high accolades performing regional dinner theaters across the country, Cohen took her act Hollywood, landing parts in several major motion movies. Her credits include Warner Brothers films the “Exorcist” and “All The Presidents Men”, in addition to Twentieth Century Fox film “The Other Side of Midnight”.
After a successful career as an actress, Cohen decided to turn her attention to the business side of the entertainment industry, with a particular focus on broadcast transmissions and playing a key role in the reacquisition of HTN Communications, LLC.
A key member on the Board President Circle at Marymount College of Virginia, Cohen is heavily involved in the community, having served as PTA President at Maymount Junior High School. She is also a strong supporter and advocate of the French American Aid For Children.
Rita is married to Joe Cohen and has four daughters – Aren, Marianne, Johanna, and Gabriella.
