John Bonaccorso
Director of Operations
John
began his career
at Rainbow Network
Communications, a
Cablevision company,
based in Floral Park,
NY as an operation’s
technician in 1995.
During this time,
some of his responsibilities
included encryption
system maintenance
and affiliate engineering,
sales and satellite
transponder scheduling,
trafficking, monitoring
and troubleshooting
live sport events
that were distributed
to various regional
sports networks.
In
September of 2000,
Bonaccorso joined
the GlobeCast Sports
Division as a Customer
Service Representative.
John’s main
focus at GlobeCast
was to provide sales
support, and provide
value added services
to an existing customer
base. In February
2002, Bonaccorso
was promoted to Project
Manager, Sports.
In addition to his
previous responsibilities,
John managed the
sports trafficking
department and established
quality working relationships
between the operations
and accounting divisions
to ensure service
excellence throughout
each area of the
company as it related
to sports services.
In
May 2003, HTN Communications
purchased the Sports
Divison of GlobeCast.
Bonaccorso and his
team successfully
transitioned the
Sports Division’s
operations to HTN
Communications upon
completion of the
sale. John not only
played a vital role
in HTN’s operational
transition, but also
in the construction
of the company’s
monitoring center
and computer trafficking
system.
On
September 1, 2004,
Bonaccorso was promoted
to Director of Operations
for HTN Communications.
In addition to his
responsibilities,
John will continue
to manage the growing
operations division.
Additionally, John
will assume more
responsibilities
associated with finance
and IT applications.
HTN will depend upon
John to develop and
administer applications
and procedures to
help manage and navigate
through the new broadcast
technologies.
John
is a Pace University
graduate with a B.
A. in Communications.
